Description of Ward

1. Kunduchi

Commencing at a point 1 kilometre away from the north-western corner of Wazo Hill Cement Factory, the boundary follows a southerly direction along the present City Boundary to include the whole of Goba Ward to a point 2 kilometres west of the water tanks at Mbezi Industrial Area. It then turns north-easterly to a point 200 metres south of the said tanks; thence easterly to the junction of New Bagamoyo Road and the road to Hotel Africana. The boundary continues eastward into the Indian Ocean touching Bungoyo Island at its northern tip to the present City Boundary; then the boundary turns north-west along the present City Boundary to the point of commencement.

2. Kawe

Commencing at a point where New Bagamoyo Road crosses Kijitonyama River, the boundary follows the river eastward to the coast line. It then follows the coastline to the tip of Msasani peninsula, then eastward to the present City Boundary. The boundary then takes a north-westerly direction along the City Boundary to a point where the City Boundary meets the southern boundary of Kunduchi Ward. It then follows the said southern boundary of Kunduchi Ward westward to the Western City Boundary; then in a south westerly direction to the point of commencement.

3. Msasani

Commencing from a point where Bagamoyo Road crosses Selander Bridge, along the centre of Bagamoyo Road north-westwards to a place where this road crosses Kijitonyama River; thence north-eastward along Kijitonyama River to the Coastline; thence along the coastline eastward and northward along the southern boundary southward to a point directly opposite Selander Bridge. The boundary then turns south-west to the point of commencement.

4. Kinondoni

Commencing at a point where Bagamoyo Road crosses Selander Bridge; thence along the centre of the Bagamoyo Road/westwards to its junction with Morocco Road along the centre of Morocco Road to its junction with Katani Road; thence westward along the centre of Katani Road for a distance of about 666 metres, to a point where it meets an unnamed stream; thence southwards following this stream until it joins Sinza River; thence south-eastwards along the Sinza River, to where it meets the Msimbazi River; thence along the centre of Msimbazi Creek to the point of commencement.

5. Mwananyamala

Commencing at a point along the Bagamoyo Road opposite Village Museum; thence southwards in a straight line for a distance of about 16,000 metres to Sinza River; thence downstream along the Sinza River to its junction with an unnamed stream; thence it follows the western boundary of the Kinondoni Ward to junction of Bagamoyo/Morocco Roads; thence westwards along the centre of Bagamoyo Road to the point of commencement.

6. Kigogo

Commencing at the Msimbazi Bridge on the Morogoro Road; thence westwards along the centre of Morogoro Road to its junction with Kagera Street; thence southwards along Kagera Street to its junction with Mikumi Street; thence south-eastward in a straight line to the source of an unnamed stream; thence along the unnamed stream to Lake Makurumula; thence along the eastern bank Lake Makurumula to a point where a drain enters the lake from the east; thence southerly in a straight line to a point on Msimbazi River; thence easterly along Msimbazi River to Kigogo Bridge; thence northerly along Msimbazi River to the point of commencement.

7. Ndugumbi

Commencing at Msimbazi Bridge along Morogoro Road; thence northward along Msimbazi River to its confluence with Sinza River crossing Turiani Street; thence further north-westerly along Sinza River to a point where a footpath leading from the extension of Makanya Street meets Sinza River; thence in a straight line south-westerly to the extension of Makanya Street; thence along the centre of Makanya Street to its junction with Kagera Street; thence southward along the centre of Kagera Street to its junction with Morogoro Road; thence eastward along the centre of Morogoro Road to the point of commencement.

8. Manzese East

Commencing at the junction of Morogoro Road and Kagera Street; thence northward along the centre of Kagera Street to its junction with Makanya Street; thence along the extension of Makanya Street following the western boundary of Ndugumbi Ward to Lake Magomeni; thence westward along the southern boundary for Tandale Ward then the western boundary of Tandale Ward, then the southern boundary of Kawe Ward along Kijitonyama River to the point where the Kawe Ward boundary diverts westward along a straight line to Morogoro Road; thence along the centre of Morogoro Road to the point of commencement.

9. Manzese West

Commencing at the junction of Morogoro Road and Mwenge Road; thence along the centre of Mwenye Road to its junction with Samnnjoma Road; thence in a straight line eastward along the Kawe Ward boundary to a point where it meets Kijitonyama River; thence southward in a straight line to Morogoro Road; thence along the centre of Morogoro Road to the point of commencement.

10. Makurumula

Commencing at the junction of Morogoro Road and Kagera Street; thence southwards along the centre of Kagera Street to its junction with Mikumi Street; thence in a straight line due south-eastward to the source of an unnamed stream; thence along the stream to lake Makurumula; thence along the easterly bank of the lake to the point where a drain enters the lake; thence straight in the south-westerly direction to the centre of Kigogo creek; thence westwards in a straight line along the centre of the creek to a point where it meets the Mandela Road; thence along the Mandela Road to its junction with Mabibo Road; thence along the centre of Mabibo Road to its junction with Kigogo Road; thence along the centre of Kigogo Road to its junction with Morogoro Road; thence along the centre of Morogoro Road to the point of commencement.

11. Ubungo South

Commencing at the junction of Morogoro Road and Kigogo Road, the area bounded by the Makurumula Ward boundary to the east, the Tabata Ward boundary to the south, the City boundary to the west until it meets Morogoro Road; thence easterly along the centre of Morogoro Road to the point of commencement.

12. Ubungo North

Commencing at the junction of Morogoro Road and Mwenge Road, the boundary runs northward along the centre of Mwenge Road up to its junction with Samnujoma Road; thence westerly along the centre of Samnujoma Road to its junction with Ng'ambo Road; thence further westerly in a straight direction to a point where it meets the western City boundary at halfway between 6℃40' and 6℃45'S; thence southward along the City boundary to a point about 1,000 metres south-west of Goba Village; thence westerly in a straight direction for a distance of 8 Kilometres; thence southward in a straight direction along the City boundary to where it meets Morogoro Road; thence along the centre of Morogoro Road to the point where Morogoro Road meets Mwenge Road.

13. Tandale

Commencing at a point along Bagamoyo Road opposite Village Museum; thence westward along the centre of Bagamoyo Road to Kijitonyama Bridge; thence south-westerly in a straight line touching the western bank of Lake Tandale to a point 2,000 metres north of Morogoro Road; thence eastwards in a straight line passing through Lake Magomeni to Sinza River; thence it follows the Western boundary of Mananyamala Ward to the point of commencement.

14. Jangwani

The area bounded by Morogoro Road, UWT Street, Mkunguni Street to its junction with Lumumba Street; thence northwards along Lumumba Street, Mafia Street and the eastern edge of Msimbazi Creek.

15. Ilala

Commencing at a point where Bungoni Street meets the Central Railway Line; thence north-westwards along the centre of Bungoni Street, crossing Uhuru Street, straight to a point where it meets Msimbazi River; thence north-eastwards along the Msimbazi River to the Kigogo Bridge; thence south-easterly along the Kigogo Road to its junction with Uhuru Street; thence easterly along Uhuru Street to a point where it meets Shaurimoyo Street; thence in south-easterly direction along Shaurimoyo Street to a point where it meets the Central Railway Line; thence south-westwards along the centre of the Central Railway Line to the point of commencement.

16. Mchikichini

Commencing at the junction of the Msimbazi Road and Tandamti Street; thence southward along the centre of Msimbazi Road to its junction with Uhuru Street; thence in a south-westerly direction with Uhuru Street; thence in a south-westerly direction along the centre of Uhuru Street to a point where it meets Kigogo Road; thence along the centre of Kigogo Road to a point where it diverts at 35 metres from the Kigogo Bridge; thence in an easterly direction along the open drain to a point where it joins with a bigger open drain running in a north-south direction; thence in a straight line to Mchikichini Creek, to a point where it meets Tandamti Street; thence in an easterly direction along the centre of Tandamti Street to the point of commencement.

Commencing at the Traffic Lights at the junction of Morogoro Road with UWT Street the area bounded by Morogoro Road, India Street, Railway Street, Generzani Street, Bandari Street to the point where it overcrosses a Railway line from the main Quay; thence the Railway line leading from the main Quay to a point where it undercrosses Pugu Road, Shauri Moyo Street, Uhuru Street, UWT Street to the point of commencement.

19. Kivukoni

Commencing at the Pier near the Magogoni Ferry; thence north-westwards along the coastal line to the Selander Bridge; thence south-eastward along the centre of Upanga Road to its junction with UWT Street to its junction with Morogoro Road; thence eastwards along the centre of Morogoro Road to its junction with India Street; thence along the centre of India Street to its junction with Railway Street; thence southwards along the centre of Railway Street to its junction with Gerezani Street; thence along the centre of Gerezani Street to its junction with Bandari Street; thence along the centre of Bandari Street to a point where it overcrosses a Railway line from the main quay; thence eastward along the centre of the Railway line from the main quay to the coastline; thence along the coastline to the point of commencement.

20. Upanga

Commencing at Selander Bridge the boundary follows Upanga Road, UWT Street, Morogoro Road, Msimbazi River, centre of Msimbazi River, to the point of commencement.

21. Kariakoo North

Commencing from a point on the eastern bank of Msimbazi Valley where the extension of Mafia Street starts; thence eastwards along Mafia Street to a point where it joins Lumumba Street to its junction with Mkunguni Street; thence westwards along Mkunguni Street to its junction with Msimbazi Road; thence southwards along Msimbazi Road to its junction with Tandamti Street; thence westwards along Tandamti Street to the eastern bank of Msimbazi Valley; thence northerly along the eastern bank of Msimbazi Valley to the point of commencement.

22. Kariakoo South

Commencing at a point where Mkunguni Street joins UWT Street; thence southwards along UWT Street to its junction with Uhuru Street; thence westerly along Uhuru Street to a point where it crosses Msimbazi Road; thence northerly along Msimbazi Road to its junction with Mkunguni Street; thence eastwards along Mkunguni Street to the point of commencement.

23. Tabata

Commencing the confluence of the Luhanga/Msimbazi River north-westerly along the Luhanga River crossing the Railway Line from Ubungo; thence south-westerly along the Ubungo South Ward southern boundary to the western City boundary; thence southward along the City boundary for a distance of about 2,000 metres to the northern boundary of Ukonga Ward; thence following the northern boundary of Ukonga Ward easterly for about 1,500 metres and then south easterly up to the junction of Vingunguti/Ukonga Wards boundary at a point about 100 metres north of the Central Railway Line; thence north-easterly to the point of commencement.

24. Mbagala

The area bounded by the southern bank of Mzinga Creek to the point where it reaches Kilwa Road; thence along Mzinga River to the point it reaches the Ukonga Ward boundary, the eastern boundary of Ukonga Ward, and the south-eastern boundary of the City Council.

25. Yombo

The area bounded to the south-east by Mzinga River, to the north-east by Kilwa Road and the southern boundary of Mgulani southward to the north the southern boundary of Mgulani South/Ward, to the north the southern boundaries of Temeke East, Temeke West and Vingunguti Wards to the west and south the Ukonga Ward boundary.

26. Temeke East

Commencing at a point where Yombo Street meets Temeke Street; thence along the centre of Temeke Street, to a point where it meets Mbagala Road; thence along the centre of Mbagala Road for a distance of about 33 metres to its junction with Kazole Street; thence southwards along the centre of Kazole Street to its junction with Mahunda Street; thence southwards along the centre of Mahunda Street to its junction with Kivungo Street; thence south-westerly along an unnamed street which is a continuation of Mahunda Street till it meets Yombo River; thence northerly along Yombo River to a point where it joins Mwale River; thence northerly again along Mwale River to a point where it joins Temeke River; thence north-easterly in a straight line to join Yombo Street to the point of commencement.

27. Temeke West

Commencing at Mtambani behind Plot No. 12; thence in an easterly direction in a straight line towards Radio Tanzania until it meets an unnamed street; thence in southerly direction along the centre of the unnamed street; thence in easterly direction along the centre of this unnamed street to its junction with Temeke Street; thence south-easterly along Temeke Street to its junction with Yombo Street; thence south-westerly along the centre of Yombo Street to a point where it meets Liwale Street and continues in that direction to a point where Temeke River meets Mwal River; thence northerly to the point of commencement.

28. Mgulani North

Commencing at the junction of Temeke Street with Chang'ombe Road; thence along the centre of Chang'ombe Road to its junction with Igombe Road; thence eastwards along the centre of Igombe Road to its junction with Zimbabwe Road; thence northwards along the centre of Zimbabwe Road to its junction with Songambele Road; thence eastwards along the centre of Songambele Road and its extension to a point where it meets an open drain; thence in a north-easterly direction following this open drain to its major confluence near Caltex Petrol Depot; thence in a south-easterly direction along the centre of the open drain to a point where it crosses Kilwa Road; thence along Kilwa Road to its junction with Chang'ombe Road; thence along the centre of Chang'ombe Road to the point of commencement.

29. Mgulani South

Commencing at a point where Kilwa Road under crosses the Tazara Line; thence in a north-west direction to a point where the boundary meets an unnamed street leading up to Kilimahewa Water Supply Tanks; thence north-westwards along the centre of the unnamed street northwards in a straight line to its junction with Mahunda Street and Kivungo Street; thence north-eastwards along the centre of Mahunda Street to its junction with Kazole Street; thence northwards along the centre of Kazole Street to its junction with Mbagala Road; thence north-westwards along the centre of Mbagala Road, for a distance of about 33 metres to its junction with Temeke Street; thence northwards along the centre of Temeke Street to its junction with Chang'ombe Road; thence along the centre of Chang'ombe Road to its junction with Kilwa Road.

30. Kurasini (Kurasini-Mtoni)

Commencing at the point where Bandari Street overcrosses a Railway Line from the main quay the area bounded by Bandari Street, Mafuta Street, the northern boundary of Mgulani Northward, Kilwa Road, to a point where it crosses Mzinga Creek; thence northwards along the western bank of Mzinga Creek to the point where it reaches the harbour; thence the western bank of the harbour to the point where a Railway Line to the main quay diverts westwards; thence along the railway line from the main quay to the point of commencement.

31. Kigamboni (Kigamboni-Kijibweni)

Commencing at the Kigamboni Ferry point the area bounded by the eastern bank of the harbour to the point where it connects with the south-western part of Mzinga Creek; thence south-east in a straight line to the City boundary; thence north-easterly along the city boundary leaving inner and outer Makatumba Islands inside, to the point of commencement.

32. Keko

Commencing at Mtambani behind Industrial Plot No. 12; thence in an easterly direction in a straight line towards Radio Tanzania until it meets an unnamed Street; thence in southerly direction along the centre of this unnamed street to its junction with another unnamed street; thence in an easterly direction along the centre of this unnamed street to its junction with Temeke Street; thence southwards along the centre of Temeke Street to its junction with Chang'ombe Road; thence along the centre of Chang'ombe Road to its junction with Igombe Road; thence eastwards along the centre of Igombe Road to its junction with Zimbabwe Road to its junction with Zimbabwe Road; thence northwards along the centre of Zimbabwe Road to its junction with Songambele Road and its extension to a point where it meets an open drain; thence in north-easterly direction following this open drain and its extension from its major confluence near the Caltex Petrol Depot to a point where it meets Mafuta Street; thence northwards along the centre of Mafuta Street, to its junction with Bandari Street; thence north-westwards along the centre of Bandari Street to a point where it overcrosses a railway line from the Main Quay approximately 100 metres from its junction with Gerezani Street; thence westwards along this Railway line to a point where it undercrosses the Nyerere Road to a point where it meets Shaurimoyo Street; thence along Shaurimoyo Street to a point where it crosses the Central Railway Line; thence south-westwards along the centre of the Central Railway Line to a point about 700 metres past its junction with Uhuru Street; thence south-westwards in a straight line to the point of commencement.

Commencing at Pugu Railway Station the area bounded by the road from Pugu Railway Station to a point where it meets the Dar es Salaam-Kisarawe Road; thence south-easterly in a straight line passing south of Pugu Kajiungeni Village and Kizinga River to the western boundary of Mbagala Ward; thence the western boundary of Mbagala Ward; thence the western boundary of Mbagala Ward to the east; the southern and western boundary of Yombo Ward to the north-east; the southern boundaries of Vingunguti Ward to the north; the southern boundary of Tabata Ward to the north to a point where it meets the City boundary in the west; thence in a straight line to the point of commencement.

1. Chumbageni

Commencing at the junction of Mombasa Road and the old township boundary, the boundary follows the old township boundary eastwards across the Indian Ocean for a distance of approximately 4.1 kilometres, where it meets the Raska Zone/Bombo Ward western boundary. It then turns southward across the Indian Ocean for a distance of approximately 1.5 kilometres to the Port Road; thence along Port Road westwards for approximately 200 metres to its junction with Mombasa Road; thence southward along Boma Road for a distance of about 700 metres to the Korogwe Railway line westward for approximately 800 metres to its junction with the Jamhuri Road; thence in a northerly direction along Jamhuri Road for 900 metres to its junction with Chumbageni Road; thence in a northerly direction along Jamhuri Road for 900 metres to its junction with Chumbageni Road; thence westward along Chumbageni Road for about 2 kilometres to its junction with the old township boundary (Escarpment Road); thence northwards along the old township boundary for two kilometres to the point of commencement.

2. Duga

Commencing at the junction of Duga and Pangani Roads in the east, the boundary follows Duga Road north-westerly for about 870 metres to Duga Lodging, then leaves Duga Road and shoots north-westwards for about 150 metres to its junction with the airport storm water drain, then follows the drain southward to its junction with Masiwani Road; thence eastward following the old township boundary along Masiwani Road through survey beacon No. CB: 899 for 1.15 kilometres to its junction with Pangani Road. It then follows Pangani Road northwards for about 800 metres to the point of commencement.

3. Mabawa

Commencing at the junction of Pangani and Mabawa Roads, in the west, the boundary runs eastwards along Mabawa Road for approximately 1 kilometre to its junction with Msambweni storm water drain, then in a south-easterly direction along Msambweni drain for 230 metres to the old township boundary; thence southwardly following the old township boundary along Msambweni Road, for 1.5 kilometres to its junction with Kivumbitifu Road at beacon No. GB: 899, then follows the old township boundary westwards for 1 kilometre to survey beacon No. GB: 899; thence in a northerly direction along Pangani Road for 1.2 kilometres to the point of commencement.

4. Majengo

Commencing at the crossing of Jamhuri Road and Korogwe Railway Line, the boundary follows the railway line north-eastwards for approximately 1.2 kilometres to a point where it crosses Taifa Road (Pangani Road); then follows Taifa Road southwards for 1.4 kilometres, to its junction with Jamhuri Road; thence westwardly along Jamhuri Road for 800 metres to its junction with Uhuru Road; thence north-westwards along Jamhuri Road for 500 metres to the point of commencement.

5. Makorora

Commencing at the junction of Swahili Street and Jamhuri Road, the boundary follows Jamhuri Road eastwards for 450 metres, to its junction with Mnyanjani Road; thence along Mnyanjani Road south-eastwards for 1.5 kilometres to Beacon No. T. 625 of the old township boundary; thence southwards along the old township boundary for 700 metres and north-west for 1.6 kilometres to its junction with the Msambweni storm water drain for 150 metres; thence northwards following the same drain for 850 metres to its crossing with Jamhuri Road; thence eastwards along Jamhuri Road to the point of commencement.

6. Msambweni

Commencing at the roundabout of Taifa Road and Jamhuri Road; thence eastwards along Jamhuri Road for 1 kilometre, at its crossing with the Msambweni storm water drain; thence southwards along Msambweni storm water drain for 800 metres at its crossing with Mabawa Road; thence north-westwards along the same drain for 230 metres; thence westwards along Mabawa Road for 1 kilometre to its junction with Pangani Road; thence northwards for 1 kilometre to the point of commencement.

7. Mwanzange

Commencing at the roundabout of Taifa Road and Jamhuri Road, the boundary follows Jamhuri Road north-westward for 1.3 kilometres at its crossing with Korogwe Railway Line; thence westward along the railway line for 5 kilometres to its crossing with the Kange storm water drain; thence south-east along the storm water drain for 4 kilometres to the old township boundary; thence north-eastward for 1.36 kilometres to the airport storm water drain and follows the drain to Duga Road; thence westward along Duga Road or approximately 1.15 kilometres to its junction with Pangani Road; thence northward along Pangani Road, for 1.5 kilometres to the point of commencement.

8. Mzingani

Commencing at the crossing of Jamhuri Road and the old township boundary, the boundary follows the old township boundary north-east for 300 metres at Eckenforde Avenue; thence eastward along Eckenforde Avenue for 800 metres to the Indian Ocean; thence southward along the coast line for 4.2 kilometres to the north-east Tangasisi Ward boundary; thence westward along Mnyanjani Road for 2.1 kilometres to beacon No. T. 626; thence north-westward along Mnyanjani Road for 1.4 kilometres to its crossing with Jamhuri Road; thence along Jamhuri Road for 1.15 kilometres to the point of commencement.

9. Ngamiani North

Commencing at the crossing of Korogwe Railway Line and Taifa Road the boundary follows the railway line eastwards for 800 metres to its crossing with Swahili Street; thence southward along Swahili Street for 500 metres at its junction with street No. 8; thence westward along street No. 8 for 800 metres, at its junction with Taifa Road; thence northward along Taifa Road for 400 metres, to the point of commencement.

10. Ngamiani Central

Commencing at the junction of Street No. 8 and Taifa Road, the boundary follows street No. 8 eastward for 800 metres at its junction with Swahili Street; thence southward along Swahili Street for 350 metres to its junction with street No. 15; thence westward along street No. 15 for 850 metres, to its junction with Taifa Road; thence northward along Taifa Road for 350 metres to the point of commencement.

11. Ngamiani South

Commencing at the junction of Street No. 15 and Taifa Road, the boundary follows street No. 15 eastwards for 850 metres, to its junction with Swahili Street; thence southward along Swahili Street, for 350 metres, to its junction with Jamhuri Road; thence westward along Jamhuri Road for 1 kilometre to its crossing with Taifa Road; thence northward along Taifa Road for 400 metres to the point of commencement.

12. Nguvumali

Commencing at Survey Beacon No. CBZ. 327 at the old township boundary in the west, the boundary follows the old township boundary eastwards, for 2.5 kilometres, to the junction of Escarpment Road and Chumbageni Road; thence eastward along Chumbageni Road, for 2 kilometres, to its junction with Jamhuri Road; thence southward along Jamhuri Road, for 900 metres to its crossing wtih Korogwe Railway Line; thence westward along Korogwe Railway Line, for 3.5 kilometres, to its junction with the old township boundary; thence along the old township boundary through beacon Nos. CBZ 379, CBZ. 356 and CBZ. 355; thence westward to beacon No. CBZ 328; thence northward through beacon Nos. CBZ, 334, CBZ. 333; thence to beacon No. CBZ. 327 where the boundary commenced.

13. Raskazone/Bombo

Commencing at a point 100 metres west of Toten Island, the boundary runs eastward along the old township boundary for 2.2 kilometres, to survey beacon No. Z. 290; thence further south for approximately 650 metres, to its junction with Eckenforde Avenue; thence westward along Eckenforde Avenue, for 2 kilometres to its crossing with the Korogwe Railway Line; thence further westward along the railway line for 1.5 kilometres to its crossing with the northern boundary of Majengo Ward; thence northwards for 50 metres, to the junction of Korogwe and Boma Roads; thence further northward along Boma Road for 700 metres to its junction with Mombasa and Port Roads; thence eastward along Port Road for 200 metres; thence in a northerly direction across the Indian Ocean, for 1.25 kilometres to the point of commencement.

Commencing at the crossing of Swahili Street and Port Railway Siding, the boundary runs northward, along the Port Railway Siding for 200 metres, to its crossing with Eckenforde Avenue; thence eastward along Eckenforde Avenue for 1.1 kilometres, to its junction with the northern boundary of Mzigani Ward; thence south-west for 300 metres, to its junction with Jamhuri Road; thence further south-west along Jamhuri Road; thence westward along Jamhuri Road for 600 metres to its junction with Swahili Street; thence northward along Swahili Street for 1.2 kilometres to the point of commencement.

15. Kiomoni

Commencing at the junction of Mjesani Road and Amboni Estate boundary, the boundary runs along Mjesani Road for 11 kilometres to Mombasa Road; thence south-eastward along Mombasa Road to Mkulumuzi River bridge; thence westward for 9 kilometres to Amboni Estate boundary; thence northward for 800 metres to the Sigi River; thence westward along Sigi River to the Tanga/Muheza district boundary and back to the point of commencement.

16. Mabokweni

Commencing at the Pangarawe bridge (Gombero Road), the boundary follows Ngole River eastward for 2.25 kilometres, to its crossing with Mombasa Road; thence further east along Ngole River to the Indian Ocean; thence follows the coastline southward for approximately 1.3 kilometres to the Nzimwe River for about 2.5 kilometres to its crossing with Mombasa Road; thence further west along Nzimwe River for about 11 kilometres to Lake Mwameli; thence follows Mwameli valley, westward, for approximately 10 kilometres to Magunduro; thence northward along Gombero/Mabokweni Road for about 2.5 kilometres to the point of commencement.

17. Maweni

Commencing at the Mkulumuzi River bridge, the boundary runs along Mkulumuzi River westwards for approximately 9 kilometres to the eastern Amboni Estate boundary; thence further west to its junction with the Tanga/Muheza district boundaries; thence westward for approximately 3.5 kilometres to its crossing with the Mkulumuzi River, northern tributary; thence south-westward for 1.5 kilometres to its crossing with the main Mkulumuzi River tributary; thence runs southward for about 6.5 kilometres to the crossing of Pongwe/Buhuri Sisal Estate southern boundary and the Korogwe railway line; thence eastwards along the railway line for 5 kilometres to Pongwe town; thence southwards for 1 kilometre; thence eastwards for 2 kilometres; thence southward for 1 kilometre; thence eastwards for 1.5 kilometres; thence northwards for 2 kilometres to Korogwe Railway Line; thence eastwards along the Railway for 2 kilometres to the point where the Railway Line meets Tangasisi northward boundary; thence northwards along the western boundary of Dugu/Mwanzange and Nguvumali Wards to the point of the commencement.

18. Mzizima

Commencing at Lake Mwameli, the boundary runs eastwards along Nilimwe River, for 11 kilometres, to its crossing with Mombasa Road; thence further east along the river for about 2.5 kilometres to the Indian Ocean; thence southwards along the coast for about 12 kilometres to the Mkulumuzi River estuary; thence westwards along the river to the bridge, across Mombasa Road; thence westward along Mombasa Road for ½ kilometre to its junction with Mjesani Road; thence runs westwards along Mjesani Road for 11 kilometres to its junction with Amboni Estate boundary; thence runs north-east along Sigi River for 6 kilometres to the Pangarawe Bridge; thence along Mjesani Road to the point of commencement.

19. Pongwe

Commencing at the crossing of Tanga/Muheza district boundaries and the Korogwe Railway Line, the boundary runs eastwards along Korogwe railway line for approximately 5 kilometres to Pongwe Town; thence runs southwards, for 1 kilometre; thence eastward for 2 kilometres; thence northwards for 2 kilometres to its junction with Korogwe Line; thence runs eastward along the said railway line for 2 kilometres to its junction with Tangasisi western ward boundary; thence runs eastward for 2 kilometres; thence northwards for 4 kilometres to the junction of Korogwe Railway Line and Buhuri Sisal Estate boundary; thence south to the junction of Tanga/Muheza District boundaries and Tongoni western ward boundary; thence south to the junction of Tanga/Muheza District boundaries and Tongoni western ward boundary; thence westward for approximately 7 kilometres to its junction with river Ukindani; thence northward along Ukindani River to the western end of Tongoni Sisal Estate boundary; thence northwards along Tanga/Muheza district boundaries for 10 kilometres to the point of commencement.

20. Tangasisi

Commencing at the coast south of Mnyanjani Village the boundary runs along Mnyanjani Road for 2 kilometres north-east, to the junction of Msambweni Road; thence westward along Msambweni Road for 3.5 kilometres to the northern side of Kivumbitifu Village; thence westwards for 500 metres to its junction with Anthony's Estate Road; thence westwards to Pangani Road; thence southwards along Pangani Road for about 100 metres to its junction with Masiwani Road; thence along Masiwani Road for about 5 kilometres to Masiwani Village; thence north-west to the Tongani Sisal Estate boundary; thence northwards along Buhuri Estate for about 7 kilometres to the Kange Sisal Estate boundary; thence eastwards to a point where the Pongwe Sisal Estate boundary meets Mgwisha River; thence runs along Mgwisha River for approximately 8 kilometres where it crosses Pangani Road; thence follows the same river eastwards to the Indian Ocean; thence northwards along the coast for approximately 12 kilometres to the point of commencement.

21. Tongoni

Commencing at the Mgwisha River estuary, the boundary runs westwards along Mgwisha River for approximately 8 kilometres to its junction with Buhuri Sisal Estate southern boundary; thence south westwards along Tongoni Sisal Estate boundary to Pongwe/Tongoni Road; thence further southwards to Kakindu River; thence south-eastwards along Kakindu River for approximately 3 kilometres to Migombani River; thence further south for 1.5 kilometres to the north-western tip of Kigombe Sisal Estate; thence eastwards along the Estate boundary to the coast; thence northwards along the coast to the point of commencement.

1. Ilemela

Commencing at the point where River Butuja enters into Lake Victoria the boundary runs along that river to the point where River Butuja meets River Ilallia and thence in a north-westerly direction along River Ilallia to the point where that river enters Lake Victoria.

2. Pasiansi

Commencing at the point where River Butuja enters into Lake Victoria, the boundary runs along that river to the Buswelu Valley and thence along that valley in a south westerly direction to a point at the foot of Kakebe mountains. Thence the boundary runs in a straight line across Kakebe and Nyashana Mountains to the point where Kiroleli Street meets the foot of Nyashana Mountains. Thence the boundary runs along Kiroleli Street to Makongoro Road and along Makongoro Road to Bwiru Road; thence along Bwiru Road to the stone quarry factory near Kayenze Mountains and thence along the centre of Kayenze mountains into Lake Victoria.

3. Nyamanoro

Commencing at a point on Lake Victoria, the boundary runs along the centre of Kayenze mountains; thence through the valley leading to Makongoro Road; thence across that road it runs along Kiroleli Street to the centre of Nyashana mountains; thence in a southerly direction along Nyashana mountains to the foot of those mountains. Thence the boundary runs through the centre of the church of Assemblies of God and Mwenge Primary school to Makongoro Road. Thence the boundary crosses Makongoro Road and runs along Furahisha Street to Kitangiri Road and along that road to Mlimani Road and thence straight to Ibanda Mountains and ends on the shores of Lake Victoria.

4. Kirumba

Commencing at the point where River Mirongo enters into Lake Victoria, the boundary runs along that river to Makongoro Road; thence along that road to Furahisha Street. Thence the boundary runs along Furahisha Street and Mlimani Street to the Shores of Lake Victoria.

5. Isamilo

Commencing at the point where Makongoro Road meets River Mirongo the boundary runs along River Mirongo to the point where that river meets Mission Street; thence along that street in a northerly direction to the foot of Nyashana mountains; thence the boundary runs in a westerly direction to Makongoro Road and thence in a southerly direction to the point of commencement.

6. Nyamagana

Commencing at the point where River Mirongo enters Lake Victoria the boundary runs along that river to the bridge on Nyerere Road; thence along Nyerere Road to Pamba Street; thence the boundary runs along Pamba Street crossing the railway line to the shores of Lake Victoria; thence the boundary runs around Capri Point and Sanane Island to the point where Pamba Road meets the shores of Lake Victoria.

7. Pamba

Commencing at the point where River Mirongo meets Misisi Street, the boundary runs along River Mirongo to Mabatini Street; thence along Musoma Road to Nyakato bridge; thence the boundary runs to Bugarika Mountains and along the centre of these mountains to Mulungushi Road; thence along Mulungushi Road to the bridge on Nyerere Road; from the bridge the boundary runs in a southerly direction to Igogo Road and along Igogo Road crossing the railway line and Kenyatta Road to the shores of Lake Victoria.

8. Mbugani

Commencing at the point on Nyashana Mountains where the boundary of Pasiansi Ward meets the boundary of Nyamanoro Ward, the boundary runs eastwards to eastern side of Kakebe Mountains; thence along the foot of those mountains then in a south-easterly direction to the bridge on Nyerere Road; thence along Nyerere Road to Mission Street and along that Street to the point of commencement.

9. Nyakato

Commencing at Nyakato bridge the boundary runs in easterly direction to River Mirongo; thence along the river to the point where the river bends southwards from this point the boundary runs Northwards crossing Nyerere Road to Buswele Valley then along that valley eastwards to the point of commencement at the foot of Kakebe Mountains.

10. Buwelu

Commencing at the cattle market near Nyerere Road, the boundary runs along Musoma Road to Ilalila bridge; thence in a northerly direction along River Ilalila to the point where that river meets River Butuja; thence the boundary follows River Butuja to Buswelu Valley and thence along that valley to the point where the boundary of Nyakato Ward ends at the foot of Kakebe Mountains.

11. Igoma

Commencing at the cattle market near Nyerere Road, the boundary runs along Musoma Road to Ilalila Bridge; thence along the valley leading to River Ndafe to the point where River Mirongo meets River Ndafe; from this point the boundary runs along River Mirongo and then straight to the point of commencement.

12. Igogo

Commencing at a point near Sanane Island the boundary runs across the railway line and Kenyatta Road then along Mulungushi Street to the bridge on Nyerere Road; thence the boundary follows the Nyakato Ward boundary to Igogo Street and thence in a westerly direction along Igogo Street crossing the railway line and Kenyatta Road to the shore of Lake Victoria.

13. Mikuyuni

Commencing at the point where Igogo Street meets the railway line, the boundary runs along the railway line to Paswa Valley; thence the boundary follows Paswa Valley to Igwambiti Mountains and from the foot of the mountains the boundary runs along Mirongo River to Igogo Street and along Igogo Street to the point of commencement.

14. Butimba

Commencing at a point on the shores of Lake Victoria near Nyegezi Fisheries, the boundary runs along Nsumba Road to Nyegezi Road and thence along Nyegezi Road crossing Kenyatta Road to the railway line. Thence the boundary follows the railway line to the point where that railway line crosses Kenyatta Road and thence across Kenyatta Road to the shores of Lake Victoria.

15. Mkoani

Commencing at the point where the southern boundary, of Mwanza Town meets the shoreline of Lake Victoria the boundary runs along that boundary to the point where River Mirongo meets River Ndafe; thence the boundary follows River Mirongo to the foot of Igwambiti mountains and thence across Igwambiti mountains along the Mkuyuni Ward boundary to the point on the railway line where that boundary meets the Butimba Ward boundary; thence along that boundary to the shores of Lake Victoria.

16. Bugongwa

Commencing at the mouth of Kasang'hwa River on Lake Victoria proceeds upstream along Kasang'hwa River till its source then proceeds southwards through Iseni bushland (mbuga) to the east of Igogwe Hills till the source of Ihushi River, then turns, westwards to the source of Kahama tributary and proceeds downstream along the same tributary till the confluence of the Kahama tributary with Butuja River; follows Butuja River downstream till the mouth of this river in Lake Victoria; then turn north-eastwards along the lake shoreline till the mouth of Kasang'hwa Stream to the commencement point.

17. Sangabuye

Commencing at the mouth of Lutongo Stream on Lake Victoria proceed south-westwards upstream and along the same river till its source that lies between Isesa Hills to the west and Garama Hills to the east; thence proceeds south-westwards to the Kasang'hwa Stream through Ihalalo bushland; thence turns north-westwards downstream and along Kasang'hwa River till the mouth to this river on Lake Victoria; then proceeds eastwards along the Lake Shoreline till the mouth of Lutongo River on Lake Victoria to the point of commencement.

1. Mji Mpya

Commencing at the eastern end of Choma Street, the boundary runs along this street in westerly direction straight ahead until it meets the central railway line; then it follows the railway line towards the south-east to Morogoro River; thence in a north-east direction along the same river up to the point of commencement.

2. Mlimani

Commencing at the point where Kikundi River tributary meets the township boundary joining the confluence of Kingalu/Boma Road and landmark Ngandela Y, the boundary follows the tributary until it joins Kikundi Valley up to a point of contact with the township boundary described by a line joining beacons TP 19 (Police Depot 2) and BF. 648. Then from this point it follows the township boundary in a north-easterly direction to beacon TP 19 (Police Depot 2) after which it then turns north-east to Ngandela Y. From Ngandela Y the boundary then runs northward up to the point of commencement.

3. Mji Mkuu

Commencing at the bridge where Dar es Salaam Road crosses Morogoro River, the boundary proceeds in westerly direction along Dar es Salaam Road and thereafter through Madaraka Road up to Kikundi Bridge.

4. Sultani

Commencing at Madaraka Road bridge over Kikundi River the boundary runs towards the south west along Madaraka Road until it meets Ukami Street; thence following Ukami Street up to Kikundi River. From there the boundary runs along this river northward up to the point of commencement.

5. Mazimbu

Commencing at TANZAM Bridge over Ngerengere River, the boundary follows the course of that river towards the north-east until it meets Turiani Road; thence it joins Turiani Road heading towards the south until it meets the TANZAM Roundabout; from the roundabout the boundary follows TANZAM Highway towards the south-west back to the point of commencement.

6. Sabasaba

Commencing at the roundabout marked by Dar es Salaam/Boma/Madaraka/Lumumba Roads the boundary runs northward along Lumumba Road until it reaches the central railway line; thence westward following Mindu Street up to the place of contact of Rusegwa Street and Mazimbu Road. From here it proceeds along Rusegwa Street joining Kiswanya Street and then following Kenyatta Road until it reaches Madaraka Road and hence eastwards to the point of commencement.

7. Kichangani

Commencing at the bridge where TANZAM Highway crosses River Morogoro, the boundary proceeds to the east along TANZAM Highway to the point where the old Morogoro/Dar es Salaam Road joins TANZAM Highway. The boundary then follows the old Morogoro/Dar es Salaam Road in south-west direction up to the bridge where this road crosses Kilakala River; thence towards the north to the central railway line. From here it follows the railway line westwards until it joins Morogoro River and then continues along the course of the river to the point of commencement.>

8. Kilakala

Commencing at the point where Dar es Salaam Road crosses the central railway line, the boundary runs in an easterly directions along the railway line until it crosses Bigwa River. From the bridge, the boundary follows Bigwa River up to Survey Beacon BF. 999; thence in a south-westerly direction to survey Beacons BF. 998 and then TP 8 (Mission). The boundary then turns towards the direction of survey point ST 17 until it reaches Kilakala River. Then it follows Kilakala River towards the north-west up to Dar es Salaam Road. From here it runs with Dar es Salaam Road up to the point of commencement.

9. Mafiga

Commencing at Madaraka/Kenyatta Road roundabout, the boundary follows Kenyatta Road in a north-westerly direction until it reaches Kiswanya Street. At this point it turns west running along Kiswanya Street and directly to the TANZAM Highway. Here the boundary follows TANZAM Highway towards the south-west up to Beacon TP 20 BF T646; thence in a south-easterly direction until it reaches Madaraka Road at Beacon BF. 648. Then it turns north-east following Madaraka Road back to the point of commencement.

10. Boma

Commencing at the bridge where Dar es Salaam Road crosses River Morogoro, the boundary runs south along Morogoro River until it comes in level with Sabasaba Street. At this point the boundary turns to the east and joins with Boma Road; after which it follows this road heading in a southerly direction until it meets Kingalu Road. From this point of contact it then connects to land mark Ngandela Y which is situated to the south-west and thence north-east to Beacon ST 17 proceeding in the direction of Beacon TP 8 up to the point where it joins River Kilakala. Then it follows the course of this river up to the bridge on which Dar es Salaam Road crosses; the boundary then runs along Dar es Salaam Road to the point of commencement.

11. Mwembesongo

Commencing at a point on River Morogoro which falls in level with Choma Street, the boundary follows Choma Street westward straight to the central railway line after which it follows the railway in a north-westerly direction until it meets TANZAM Highway. The Boundary then runs eastwards with the highway to TANZAM/Turiani Road towards the north up to where the road crosses River Ngerengere; thence along Ngerengere River until it joins Morogoro River. Then the boundary follows Morogoro River southward to the point of commencement.

12. Kingo

Commencing at Boma Madaraka/Lumumba/Dar es Salaam roundabout, the boundary runs towards the north following Lumumba Road up to the point where it meets the central railway line; thence eastwards along the railway line up to Morogoro River. Then it follows Morogoro River to where it is crossed by Dar es Salaam Road and then runs along this road to the point of commencement.

13. Uwanja wa Taifa

Commencing at a point where central railway line crosses Lumumba Street, the boundary runs towards the north-west along Lumumba Road to a point between the Regional Water Engineer's office and Chuo cha Ujenzi; thence westward crossing Mazimbu Road and following Lugefe Street to Paju Magogo Street straight ahead to TANZAM Highway. From there, it changes course in a south-westerly direction following TANZAM Highway up to a point that falls in level with Kiswanya Street extended. From this point it then connects and follows Kiswanya Street until it joins with Rusegwa Street; thence along Rusegwa through where Mazimbu and Mindu Street meet and eventually to the point of commencement.

14. Kiwanja cha Ndege

Commencing from a point where TANZAM Highway crosses the central railway line, the boundary follows the railway line south-eastward up to the point in between the Regional Water Engineer's office and Chuo cha Ujenzi. It then turns west crossing Mazimbu Road and running along Lugege Street through Paju Magogo Street straight ahead to TANZAM Highway. From here the boundary follows TANZAM Highway, in a north-easterly direction up the point of commencement.

15. Mbuyuni

Commencing at survey Beacon BF 648, the boundary follows Madaraka Road in a north-easterly direction to a point where it meets Ukami Street. From here it follows Ukami Street through Sabasaba Street until it joins Boma Road. Then it turns south following Boma Road up to where this road meets Kingalu Road. From this point of contact it directs towards landmark Ngandela Y up to the Kikundi River tributary. Then it follows the tributary until it joins Kikundi proper. From here it then turns south-west marking Kikundi valley up to the point of contact with the township boundary described by a line joining survey Beacons TP 19 (Police Depot 2) and BF 648. From this point the boundary proceeds towards the north-west along the township boundary to the point of commencement.

1. Mtwivila

Commencing at the peak of Ulanga Hills; thence following the northern boundary in an easterly direction through Ndalonga Peak crossing the great north road where the Town's Northern gate sign board is situated; thence to the peak of Mawelewele Hills; thence the boundary takes a south-westerly direction intersecting the old township boundary; to the south the boundary follows the peaks of Itamba Hills and thence along Itamba Road to Itamba Primary School where the boundary proceeds to join the commencing point at the peak to Ulanga Hills.

2. Kihesa

Commencing at the former township northern gate sign board the boundary proceeds in an easterly direction; thence joining the new eastern boundary; it then follows the new township boundary southwards through Kidunda Peak from where it follows a south-westerly direction till it joins the old township boundary; it then turns north-westwards in a straight line till it meets the great north road at the junction of the Mtwivila Primary School Road and the great north road; it then proceeds in the northerly direction along the great north road till its commencing point.

3. Gangilonga

Commencing at the main water reservoir in the east the ward boundary proceeds south-eastwards until it intersects with the former eastern township boundary at a land survey mark OR.2; thence it (ward boundary) follows the former township boundary; thence to a point where the former township boundary turns southwards; from this point the ward boundary proceeds first westwards for 200m and then northwards along the surveyed southern and western boundaries of the Police lines plot; thence through the surveyed eastern boundary of plot 45 of Block H and the northern surveyed boundary of plots 45, 44, 43 and 41 in the same Block H till the junction of Jamat Street and two lanes, one heading north-westwards to form a T-junction with Store Street, the other heading north-eastwards to the western side of the Central Market. From this junction the boundary proceeds north-eastwards along Jamat Street; thence to the junction of this street and Kenyatta Drive from where it proceeds northwards first along Kenyatta Drive and then along Pawage Road after crossing Uhuru Avenue till at the junction of Pawage Road and Banyakyusa Street. The boundary then proceeds north-westwards along the surveyed south-eastern boundary of plot 16 of Block Z, then it turns north-westwards along the north-eastern surveyed boundaries of plots 1-16 of Block Z then northwards along the ridge of Mtwivila Hills that borders Mkwawa College of National Eduction to the east up to the western end of the Mtwivila Primary School Road; then along this road eastwards to the junction of this road with Uhuru Avenue from which junction the boundary turns and proceeds in a straight line south-eastwards till the water reservoir which is the commencing point.

4. Ruaha

Commencing at Kidunda peak following the new township boundary first south-eastwards and then eastwards through Kigungawe peak and the eastern gate sign post the border follows the southern bank of the Little Ruaha River along with the southern town boundary that runs through Luhota and Moshi Peaks and runs along Nyuli Stream in the south-west till the point of intersection of the road to Kalenga within township boundary in the west. From this intersection the border runs northwards along Kalenga Road to a survey mark HA 544, then turns first southwards then eastwards and finally north-eastwards along the former township southern and south-eastern boundary though survey marks S. 33; J. 912; J. 927, OR. 2; thence to Peak Kidunda which is the commencing point.

5. Mwangata

Commencing at Ujinde Peak the boundary proceeds eastwards for a distance of 4,600m; thence meeting Hoho Stream, and following stream south-eastwards till it intersects with the former township boundary 500m. west of Frelimo Road; then follows the former township boundary southwards through survey marks HA 25 and HA.544 where it crosses the Kalenga Road to survey mark S.33; then it descends westwards down the escarpment till the intersection of the former township boundary and Kalenga Road from where it follows Kalenga Road till the intersection of this road with the new township boundary; then it runs northwards along the new township boundary till Ujinde Peak which is the commencing point.

6. Mkwawa

Commencing at Ujinde Peak, it proceeds eastwards for a distance of 4,600m; thence meeting Hoho Stream and following this stream south-eastwards till the intersection with the former township boundary 500m west of Frelimo Road. From this intersection it proceeds northwards along this former township boundary through survey marks STP 42 till it meets Pawaga Road at a survey mark HA.55; then south-eastwards along Pawaga Road till the turn of Pawaga Road southwards from where it proceeds north-eastwards along the northern survey boundary of Ilala Primary School plot till it intersects with the west Gangilonga Ward boundary; it proceeds northwards along the western Mtwivila Hill ridge along the Gangilonga Ward till it meets the western boundary of Mtwivila Primary School Road, then turning westwards and descending Mtwivila Hill and then westwards along the ridge of Itamba and Ugeri Hills till it meets the new western township boundary at Itamba Peak; then first south-westwards and then southwards along the township boundary through Pawaga Road at Hoho Bridge and Usangu Peak till Utinde Peak which is the commencing point.

7. Ilala

Commencing at survey mark HA.55 on the northern shoulder of Pawaga Road on the former township boundary follows this boundary southwards till survey mark S.T.P. 42, then along Frelimo Road till the junction of the proposed road running south-eastwards and serving public plots that face Ilala Street to the north then follows this road till the surveyed boundary of the last public plot till junction of Magogoni Street and Ilala Street. It then turns eastwards along Ilala Street till where this street joins Pawaga Road. Then follows the surveyed southern borders of plots 16 and 1 of Block W Western boundary of Gangilonga Ward. Then turns north-westwards and follows the Gangilonga Ward western boundary till it meets the Mkwawa/Gangilonga border from where it turns westwards along this Mkwawa southern border to a point where Mkwawa border meets Pawaga Road. It follows Pawaga Road till the mark HA. 55 on the northern shoulder of Pawaga Road, on the former township boundary which is the commencing point.

8. Kwakilosa

Commencing at the survey mark HA.544 on Kalenga Road proceeds NNE along the former township boundary to the intersection of this boundary with Hoho Stream 500m. west of Frelimo Road till survey mark S.T.F.42 on Frelimo Road. Commencing at the junction of Uhuru Avenue and Kalenga Road proceeds southwards along Uhuru Avenue till where this road meets the former township boundary at the survey mark J.927; then follows the former township boundary to the extreme eastern survey mark for Kitanzini Primary School from where it turns northwards along the eastern border of Kitanzini Primary School to the junction of Kitanzini and Liwali Street; then proceeds along Liwali northwards till the junction of Uhuru Avenue and Liwali Street; follows the Uhuru Avenue westwards till the Kalenga Road and Uhuru Avenue junction which is the commencing point.

10. Kitanzini

Commencing at the junction of Uhuru Avenue and Liwali Street proceeds southwards along Liwali Street through the Liwali Street and Kitanzini junction and along the eastern border of Kitanzini Primary School to where the school plot border joins the former southern township boundary; follows the former township boundary first eastwards and then northwards to the peak where the former township boundary turns north-eastwards then turns first westwards and then northwards along the surveyed southern and western borders of the police plot eastern borders of plot 47 and 45 of Block H and the south-western border of plot 43 of Block H to the southern end of the Central Market plot. It then turns north-eastwards along Jamat Street till the junction of Jamat Street and Kenyatta Drive, then turns northwards along Kenyatta Drive to the junction of Kenyatta Drive and Uhuru Avenue; follows the Uhuru Avenue south-westwards to the junction of Uhuru Avenue and Liwali Street which is the commencing point.

11. Mlandege

Commencing at survey mark J.927 on the Uhuru Avenue and the southern former township boundary and proceeding westwards along this former township boundary through survey marks J. 912 and 533 to the crossing of this boundary with Kalenga Road at survey mark HA,544; then follows Kalenga Road eastwards to the Kalenga Road/Uhuru Avenue junction; then follows the Uhuru Avenue southwards to the survey mark J.927 on the road and the southern township boundary which is the commencing point.

12. Makorongoni

Commencing at the junction of Uhuru Avenue and Pawage Road proceeds northwards along Pawage Road to the junction of Pawage Road and Banyakyusa Street in Block Q; thence north-eastwards along the southern border of plot 16 and then along the north-eastern borders of plot 1-16 of Block Z till the intersection of Gangilonga and Ilala Ward boundaries. Then turns westwards through the junction of Ilala Street and Pawage Road along Ilala Street to the intersection of the northern and eastern borders of the extreme east public plot. From this intersection the boundary proceeds first southwards along the eastern border of the extreme eastern public plot and then turns westwards and proceeds along the southern border of the public plot that face Ilala Street to the north and north-westwards along the road that serves the public plots to the south till the intersection of this road with Frelimo Road; follows Frelimo Road southwards to the culvert on Makorongoni tributary. Commencing at the Uhuru Avenue and Pangani Street junction, proceeds northwards along Pangani Street; thence to the place where Pangani Street crosses Makorongoni Tributary. Then proceeds along Makorongoni Tributary north-westwards to the crossing of Frelimo Road on this tributary at culvert. Then proceeds southwards along Frelimo Road to the point of intersection of the north-eastern and south-eastern borders of plot 313 of Block AA from where it proceeds south-westwards along the eastern borders of plot 381 of the same Block AA. Commencing at a point on the township boundary where Lukuledi River enters Lindi Bay; thence in a westerly direction alongside the buildings of Water Department to Kawawa Road; thence continuing along Kawawa Road in a southerly direction for approximately 1290 metres to the junction with the western edge of Mchinga Road; thence following road in an easterly direction for approximately 570 metres to the southern portion of Lukuledi River; thence continuing in a north-easterly direction to the point of commencement on the township boundary.

Commencing at a roundabout of Mchinga Road the Jamhuri Street; thence running along Jamhuri Street in a southerly direction for approximately 800 metres to a roundabout near the Central Market; thence following along Kawawa Road on the right hand side in a north-westerly direction for 945 metres to the junction with the western edge of Mchinga Road; thence continuing along Mchinga Road to the point of commencement.

4. Mikumbi

Commencing at the right hand side of Lukuledi River to the mainland on the township boundary; thence running in a straight line and crossing the boundary in a westerly direction for approximately 1,500 metres to the junction with the eastern edge of Mchinga Road; thence continuing along Jamhuri Street for a distance of approximately 800 metres to a roundabout near the Central market; thence continuing along Market Avenue; Baraza and Askari Streets for a distance of approximately 1.615 metres to the right hand side of Lukuledi River on the township boundary in a northerly direction for approximately 1,070 metres to the point of commencement.

2. Madukani

Commencing at the Jamat Khan roundabout, the ward boundary runs along Kuu Street to the railway crossing; thence runs westerly along the railway line to the Ndovu Road railway crossing. From there the boundary proceeds along Ndovu Road up to the junction with Bahi Road at Soko Mjinga; thence runs southerly along Bahi Road to the Independence Square and proceeds along One Way to the CCM Headquarters; thence southerly along Kuu Street to the point of commencement.

3. Majengo

Commencing at Ndovu Road railway crossing, the boundary proceeds along the railway to Zuzu to where the railway crosses the present township boundary; thence proceeds along the boundary crossing Bahi Road then continues along the township boundary to just north of Kaloleni Primary School and north of Bahi Road built-up area and proceeds easterly to the confluence of Hospital and Kikuyu Valley; thence proceeds along the Hospital valley to Soko Mjinga where Ndovu Road joins Bahi Road. From there the ward boundary runs along Ndovu Road to the point of commencement.

4. Hazina

Commencing at Ndovu Road railway crossing, the boundary runs south-easterly along the railway line curve to where the road from the old police line crosses the rail; thence follows that road southerly along the eastern border of the war graves to where the road joins the tarmacked Iringa Road. From there the boundary proceeds along Zuzu Road to Mzee Makberi's Mosque; leaving the mosque to the south; the boundary proceeds in this direction to the western border of the township boundary to the railway line; proceeds along the railway line south-easterly to the point of commencement.

5. Kiwanja cha Ndege

Commencing at the airport gate, the boundary runs along the fence and proceeds in this direction to Makole Valley. It runs along the valley up to the slope of Mlimwa Hill. From the hill slope, it follows the old township boundary westerly to Arusha Road; thence southerly along the road to the point of commencement.

6. Makole

Commencing at where the Makole Valley near Makole Primary School bridges with Mpwapwa Road; runs along Mpwapwa Road to Dar es Salaam Road. From there it follows Dar es Salaam Road heading to Kongwa; just before reaching the old township boundary; the ward boundary turns south along a valley up to the central railway·line; thence along the rail up to the present township boundary; thence northerly up to the Miyuji Ward boundary. From there the Makole Ward boundary continues along that direction up to the valley; thence proceeds along the valley up to where the valley meets Mlimwa Hill; thence up the hill and down; southerly up to the airport fence. From there the boundary runs along Makole Valley to the point of commencement.

7. Chamwino

Commencing at the airport gate; the ward boundary runs along Arusha Road up to the old township boundary at the valley at the bridge; thence westerly along the valley and continues in that direction to the present township boundary. From there the boundary takes a southerly direction along the township boundary up to where it meets the Majengo Ward boundary; thence runs along the Majengo Ward boundary north of Kaloleni Primary School and Bahi Road; thence proceeds in that direction to the valley from the hospital. From there it continues in that direction north of Uhuru and Jamhuri Primary Schools to the point of commencement.

8. Miyuji

Commencing at the Arusha Road bridge at the old township boundary; thence westerly along a valley which is Chamwino ward boundary, proceeds in that direction up to the present township boundary. From there it follows the township boundary north-easterly to Arusha Road where the township boundary turns east; thence runs along the township boundary southerly and proceeds in this direction crossing Dar es Salaam Road up to Makole Ward boundary; thence along the Makole Ward boundary and crosses Dar es Salaam Road once again at a valley. From there the ward boundary runs along the valley to the peak of Mlimwa Hill; thence along the old township boundary to the point of commencement.

9. Uhuru

Commencing at Kuu Street at the CCM Headquarters. From there it proceeds along the street and continues in that northerly direction up to the airport fence; thence runs westerly along the fence across the airport gate north of Jamhuri Stadium, Uhuru and Jamhuri Primary Schools and proceeds in that direction to the valley from the hospital. From there it proceeds along the valley southerly up to Bahi Road bridge at Majengo Market; thence proceeds along Bahi Road round the Independence Square and continues along One Way to the point of commencement.

10. Mkonze

Commencing a Iringa and Mazengo Road junction; thence proceeds along Mazengo Road to Kikuyu Valley and continues along the valley to the present township boundary; thence follows the township boundary southerly and runs along it up to where it turns east; thence proceeds in the direction to the peaks of Chamwino and Nyankali Hills and proceeds in that direction to the Tambukareli Ward boundary; thence runs along the ward boundary northerly to the foot of Imagi Hill to the west and proceeds north-westerly to Iringa Road leaving the National Housing Corporation block of flats to the east and proceeds to the point of commencement.

11. Dodoma Makulu

Commencing where the central railway line crosses the eastern present township boundary; thence the boundary runs along the line in a westerly direction up to the Tambukareli Ward boundary at a valley. From there it proceeds along the Tambukareli Ward boundary through Tambukareli to the foot of the hill near Mvumi Road; thence runs along the township boundary through the peaks of Chimwaga and Iyumbu Hill up to the point of commencement.

12. Kikuyu

Commencing at Iringa and Zuzu (Kinyambwa) Road junction thence along Iringa Road through Kikuyu to the township boundary. From there the ward boundary proceeds along the township boundary southerly up to a valley; thence runs along the valley towards the town centre up to Mazengo Road. From there it runs along Mazengo Road to Iringa Road leaving the Mazengo Secondary school to the south; thence along Iringa Road to the town centre to the point of commencement.

Commencing at the railway crossing on Kuu Street, the boundary runs east along the first line of the central railway line to the eastern entrance of Dodoma Railway Station building; thence south to roundabout post (south of the railway station building), along Keeka Road to the Post Office transmission post; thence south-westerly to the highest point on Wailes Ranges, to the highest point on Nyankali Mountains to a bridge near Matumbulu Swamp; thence east to the highest point on Nyanduli Hill past the road to Mvumi, Mpela Mapango Menji Tree, to a point at Mwaliganza Tree; thence north to the highest point on Chitetela Hill past Majenyenje Hill, Nchende Stone to the highest point on Chimwaga Hill; thence westerly to the highest point on Chimulu Hill, along the gully (called Fungameza); thence north (past Biringi Swamp) to Mpondi Bridge on the Dodoma/Dar es Salaam central railway line, to a 3 kilometre bridge (from Dodoma) on the Dodoma/Dar es Salaam Road; thence westerly along Dar es Salaam/Dodoma Road to Jamat-khan roundabout post; thence south to the railway crossing on Kuu Street.

Commencing at the Survey beacon TBP 12 on the township boundary in an easterly direction; thence running through TBP 11 and TBP 10 also on the township boundary to TBP 9; thence in a north-westerly direction for 400 metres to the crosspoint of River Nzovwe and the Tazara Railway Line; thence in a westerly direction along River Nzovwe to the crosspoint of this river and the TANZAM Highway; thence in a north-westerly direction along the same river for 5 kilometres, to the township boundary; thence in a south-westerly direction for 700 metres to Sanga Trig on the township boundary; thence in a south-easterly direction for 3.7 kilometres to TBP 12, the point of commencement.

2. Iziwa

From TBP 13 in an easterly direction for 3.6 kilometres to IC 348; thence in a north-easterly direction for 1.5 kilometres to IC 347; thence in a southerly direction along Nonde River for 3 kilometres to the confluence on Nonde River and Meta River; thence in a westerly direction along the river for 1.7 kilometres to the point where this river crosses a local road; thence in a westerly direction along the local road, for 3.2 kilometres to the township boundary; thence in a north-easterly direction for 1.2 kilometres back to TBP 13, the starting point.

3. Itende

Commencing at 500 metres from the crosspoint of Nzovwe River and TANZAM Highway in a north-westerly direction. Thence the boundary follows a westerly direction following Nzovwe River for 4.5 kilometres to the township boundary; thence in a north-easterly direction for 1,000 metres along the township boundary; thence, in an easterly direction following a local road for 3.7 kilometres; thence in a southerly direction for 1.6 kilometres to the commencing point.

4. Nzovwe

Commencing at the crossing point of Nzovwe River and TANZAM Highway; thence in a south-easterly direction following Nzovwe River for 4.5 kilometres to the point where the river branches. Thence in a northerly direction for 1.8 kilometres up to a road bordering the forest reserve to the east; thence in a westerly direction for 500 metres along the road; thence in a northerly direction following the road for 1.5 kilometres to the TANZAM Highway; thence in a westerly direction, following the road up to its crosspoint with Nzovwe River, the starting point.

5. Mabatini

Commencing at the junction of TANZAM Highway and Mbalizi Road; thence follows a northerly direction for 700 metres to the confluence of Rivers Meta and Sisimba; thence in a south westerly direction along the river for 800 metres to a point where the National Service Farm begins; thence in a south-westerly direction, then in a south easterly direction along the farm boundary to the TANZAM Highway; thence in a north-easterly direction for 500 metres back to the commencing point.

6. Nonde

From IC 347 on the township boundary, in a southerly direction following Nonde Stream down to the confluence of Nonde and Meta/Sisimba Rivers; thence in a north-easterly direction for 900 metres to the confluence of Sisimba and Meta Rivers; thence in a northerly direction for another 900 metres to Joka Road; thence in a north-westerly direction following Joka Road back to IC 347 to the commencing point.

7. Majengo

Commencing at beacon IC 347 through BP 5 on the township boundary; thence runs in a north-easterly direction for 900 metres, some 300 metres from B Tree 2; thence in southerly direction following a tributary of Mbata Stream for 1,000 metres; thence in a south-westerly direction to the west of Loleza Secondary School, following boundary of the Cemetery Plot, to Karume Avenue; thence in a southerly direction, across Mbata Stream then following Joka Road over to the eastern boundary of Nonde Ward back to IC 347 the commencing point.

8. Sisimba

Commencing at a point 300 metres from B Tree 2, in a south-westerly direction and on the township boundary; thence runs in a north-easterly direction to B Tree 2; thence in a south-easterly direction to B Tree 3; thence in an easterly direction along the township boundary for 1,500 metres; thence in a southerly direction, to the west of SDA Hospital, east of Loleza Hills along Meta River to Karume Avenue some 200 metres from the junction of Lumumba Avenue and Chunya Road; thence in a south-westerly direction along the same river to a place where it meets with Sisimba River; thence in a northerly direction following the Sisimba River to a point where it forms tributaries; thence following the westerly tributary in a northerly direction to the commencing point on the township boundary.>

9. Maendeleo

The confluence for Rivers Meta and Sisimba is the commencing point; thence runs in a northerly direction following the Sisimba River to its branching point; thence, in a northerly direction following the western tributary for 1,200 metres; thence in a southerly direction to the west of Loleza Secondary School along the cemetery boundary to Karume Avenue; thence in a southerly direction across Mbata Stream following Joka Road, down to the west of Tigi Primary School, down to the confluence of Sisimba and Meta Streams, the commencing point.

10. Mbalizi Road

Mbalizi Road, at the junction in a northerly direction along Mbalizi Road to the confluence of Meta and Sisimba Rivers; thence in a north-easterly direction following Meta River up to where it crosses Lumumba Avenue; thence in a south-easterly direction along Lumumba Avenue for 700 metres; thence in a westerly direction between Sangu Secondary School and Muungano Primary School for 500 metres; thence in a southerly direction to TANZAM Highway; thence in a westerly direction along the TANZAM Highway to the commencing point.

11. Sanga

Commencing at Meta River where Lumumba Avenue crosses the river thence runs in a northerly direction for 2,500 metres to the township boundary; thence in an easterly direction to TBP 1 on the township boundary; thence in an easterly direction for 1,000 metres; thence in a southerly direction for 3,500 metres; thence in a westerly direction through Ilolo Valley back to the commencing point.

12. Sinde

Commencing at a point 500 metres from Lumumba TANZAM junction in a westerly direction; thence the boundary follows a northerly direction for 700 metres; thence in an easterly direction between Muungano Primary School and Sangu Secondary School to Lumumba Road; thence in a north-westerly direction to the cross point of Meta River and Lumumba Road; thence in a south-easterly direction through Ilolo Valley for 1,700 metres; thence in a south-westerly direction to TANZAM Highway; thence in a westerly direction along the highway to the starting point.

13. Ruanda

Commencing at a point on the highway 500 metres from the junction of the Highway and Lumumba Road, north-eastwards for 700 metres; thence follows a south-easterly direction making a curve with a radius of about 1,200 metres up to the highway; thence in a southerly direction for 1,200 metres in a westerly direction for 1,000 metres; thence in a north-westerly direction for 1,800 metres up to the road making the forest reserve boundary; thence in a northerly direction to the highway; thence in an easterly direction to the point of commencement.

14. Ilemi

Commencing at Beacon TBP 4 on the township boundary in a westerly direction to TBP 5; thence in a westerly direction for 2,200 metres; thence in a north-westerly direction for another 2,200 metres; thence in a northerly direction for 3,300 metres to the township boundary; thence in a south-easterly direction through TBP 2 on the township boundary to TBP 3; thence in a southerly direction to TBP 4 the commencing point.

15. Ilomba

Commencing at Beacon TBP 9 the boundary runs in a north-westerly direction, crossing the TAZARA Railway to Nzovwe River; thence runs in a north-westerly direction for 500 metres to the forest reserve boundary; thence in a northerly direction for 800 metres; thence in a south-easterly direction for 2,500 metres, to the south of the air strip; thence in a northerly direction to the TANZAM Highway; thence in a north-westerly direction for 800 metres along Ruanda Ward boundary. Thence in a south-easterly direction for 1,900 metres; thence in easterly direction to TBP 5-on the township boundary; thence in a south-easterly direction for 2,600 metres to TBP 6 on the township boundary; thence in a south-westerly direction through TBP 7 and TBP 8 to TBP 9, the commencing point.

1. Longuo

Commencing at a boundary beacon number TBB 2 along Karanga River, the boundary follows the northern boundary of K.C.M.C. hospital eastwards to survey beacon number TBB 6 along Moshi/Kibondo road; thence along this road southwards towards Moshi Town Centre until it reaches the old northern township boundary; thence along this old boundary westwards to Lema Road; thence in the same straight line across the road to Karanga River; thence northwards along Karanga River to the point of commencement.

2. Kilimanjaro

Commencing at a point where the previous boundary crosses the Moshi/Kibondo Road, the boundary runs straight along the river southwards to where it joins Taifa Road. From there the boundary follows the Taifa Road eastwards to its junction with Kilimanjaro Road; thence along the latter to its junction with Moshi/Kibosho Road; thence following this road to the point of commencement.

3. Rau

Commencing at a survey boundary beacon number TBB 9 along Moshi/Kibosho where there is a road branching to Rau Village, the boundary follows the latter to Rau Village. From there the boundary follows Uru Road northwards to Rau Bridge; thence along the Rau River southwards to Taifa Road; thence following the Taifa Road westwards to its junction with Kilimanjaro Road. From there the boundary follows the Kilimanjaro Road to its junction with Moshi/Kibosho Road; thence along the latter northwards to the point of commencement.

4. Majengo

Commencing at a point where Njoro Stream crosses Taifa Road, the boundary follows the Taifa Road eastwards to a point where the road joins the Majengo-Karanga Road; thence along the Majengo-Karanga Road southwards to Njoro Stream, and along this stream northwards to the point of commencement.

5. Mji Mpya

Commencing at a point where Njoro Stream crosses Taifa Road, the boundary follows Taifa Road eastwards to Rau River; thence along the Rau River southwards to a survey beacon along this river which is also one of the survey beacons defining the previous township boundary. From here the boundary runs in a south-westerly direction along the previous boundary to the Majengo-Karanga Road; thence along this road northwards to the point of commencement.

6. Mawenzi

Commencing at a point where Arusha Road joins Taifa Road, the boundary follows the Taifa Road eastwards to Njoro Stream; thence along the stream southwards to Ghala Street; thence along the street southwards to Kilima Street; thence along the Kilima Street northwards to its junction with Arusha Road; thence along Arusha Road northwards to the point of commencement.

7. Kiusa

Commencing at a point where Majengo/Karanga Road joins Taifa Road the boundary follows the Taifa Road, along the Arusha Road junction with Kilima Road; thence along the Kilima Road to its junction with Market Street; thence along the Market Street southwards to its junction with Mafuta Street; thence along Mafuta Street in a north-westerly direction to where it joins Dar es Salaam Street; thence along the Dar es Salaam Street to where it joins Majengo/Karanga Road: from there the boundary follows the Majengo/Karanga Road northwards to the point of commencement.

8. Karanga

The northern boundary of this ward is the old Arusha Road; to the east is the Karanga River; to the south is the southern boundary (extended) of the Moshi Technical School and to the west is the western boundary of the technical school and that of Karanga Prison.

9. Korongoni

Commencing at a point where Karanga River crosses Taifa Road, the boundary follows the Taifa Road eastwards to Majengo/Karanga Road; thence follows the Majengo/Karanga Road to its junction with Dar es Salaam Street; thence along the Dar es Salaam Street to its junction with Mafuta Street; thence along the Mafuta Street to its junction with Mawenzi Road from there the boundary follows the Mawenzi Road southwards to its junction with Moshi/Arusha Railway Line; thence follows the Railway Line towards Arusha to its junction with Karanga River; thence following the river northwards to the point of commencement.

10. Bondeni

Commencing at a point where Market Street joins Kilima Street, the boundary follows the latter in a south-easterly direction to Moshi/Arusha Railway Line; from here the boundary follows the railway line towards Arusha to its junction with Mawenzi Road; thence follows Mawenzi Road to its junction with Mafuta Street; thence follows the Mafuta Street westwards to its junction with Market Street; from here the boundary follows the Market Street northwards to the point of commencement.

11. Njoro

Commencing at a point where Njoro Stream crosses Ghala Street, the boundary follows the stream southwards to where it crosses Majengo Karanga Road; thence follows the road in a south-westerly direction to where the road crosses Moshi/Arusha Railway Line; thence follows the railway line northwards to its junction with Kilima Street; thence follows Kilima Street to its junction with Ghala Street; thence follows the Ghala Street northwards to the point of commencement.

12. Pasua

This ward is bordered to the north by Majengo/Karanga Road, to the east by Moshi/Tanga Railway Line, to the south by northern boundary of T.P.C. Sugar Plantation, and to the west by Moshi/Arusha Railway Line.

13. Kaloleni

Commencing at a point where Tanga/Moshi Railway Line crosses Majengo/Karanga Road, the boundary follows the road eastwards to the old township boundary; thence follows the boundary eastwards to its junction with Rau River at a point where northern boundary of Rau Forest starts; thence along this forest boundary eastwards to its junction with the new township boundary; thence along the new boundary in a south-westerly direction to its junction with Tanga/Moshi Railway Line; thence along the railway line northwards to the point of commencement.

14. Kiboriloni

This ward is bordered to the north by the new township boundary; to the west by Rau River; to the south by Taifa Road, and to the east by Mola River.

15. Msaranga

This ward is bordered to the north by Taifa Road to the west by Rau River, to the south by northern boundary of Rau Forest and to the east by the new township boundary.

1. Gugu

Commencing at the bottom of Nondwe Hill on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, the boundary proceeds in the north-easterly direction for a distance of 5 km past the Trigon metric point on the top of Nondwe Hill; thence further north-easterly crossing Kibirizi and Kalalangabo Streams to the top of Ndovye Hill; thence southerly along Ndovye River to Kigoma/Uvinza Road; thence easterly along Kigoma/Uvinza Road to the bridge on Mngonya River. From the bridge in a southerly direction along Mngonya River to Kigoma/Tabora Railway Line at Kilunduma Bridge; then crossing the railway line in the south-westerly direction for a distance of 1.7 km to the top of Masanga Hill; thence in the westerly direction crossing Kigoma/Uvinza Road to the top of Mloli Hill; thence northerly for a distance of 1 km; thence westerly to the shores of Lake Tanganyika; thence to the point of commencement.

Commencing at Uhuru Obelisk keep left near Fire Station following Mikindani Road in south-west direction to a trace behind Welcome to Mtwara Post before Newala/Mikindni Roads junction; thence westward along the trace south of Ligula hospital up to a drift, turn right with the drift up to road from Ligula Quarters; thence along the roads to Chuno in north-west direction up to the Hindu-Crematorium; thence along the sea edge in north-east direction and harbour shore crossing the course to ferry and just about 400 feet after the Navigation Beacon at Ras junction, turn right perpendicularly up to post/Makonde Roads junction; then along Makonde Road to Makonde/Zambia Roads junction; thence along Zambia Road westward back to the starting point.

2. Vigaeni

Commencing at Makonde/Market Roads junction, south-westwards along Makonde Road to Makonde/Chikongola Roads junction; thence along Chikongola Road eastward through south of the Market to Chikongola Majengo Roads junction; thence north through Mtandi Swamp to meet a trace from water Division Offices; thence along Market Road to the point of commencement.

Commencing at Hindu Crematorium at sea shore south-eastward along the road to Ligula Quarters up to a drifted place then south-westward to Miseti Creek; thence all along the shore back to the starting point.

Commencing at Mikindani/Newala Roads junction south-eastward along Newala Road up to the Newala Rail Ridge junction, then along the ridge south-westward up to Tingatinga Tunnel, then north-westward along stream passing through the centre of Ufukoni, then along the eastward shore of Miseti Creek, then south-eastward with the track passing south of Ligula Hospital up to the track/Mikindani Road junction; thence southward back to the starting point; including the Naliendele, Mkangala and Mbae Villages.

9. Jangwani

Commencing at Mkwaju tree just by Mikindani Bay on the north then westward through a gigantic Mbuyu Tree by the road to Lindi, also being a Township boundary mark, then south-westward along the Township boundary up to another Mkwaju Tree; thence eastward up to a large Mbuyu Tree at Mtangashari Hill then along Rehemani Street up to Mikindani Bay and then along the shore back to starting point including Lwelu Village.

10. Mtonya

Commencing at the Bus Stand (Mikindani) eastward along Mikindani Mtwara Road up to Caltex Metallic Post and Shell Pump Station; thence southward crossing Porokanyo (or Bomani) Hill up to township boundary; thence westward till the boundary cuts the Haikata extension of Old Indian Cemetery; thence northward west-northward along Haikata/Stand Streets junction, then northward along Stand Street back to the starting point.

Commencing at the last bridge on Mikindani/Lindi Road westward along Rehemani Street through a larger fig (Mbuyu) tree at Mtangashari Hill up to Mkwaju Tree on township boundary; thence eastward up to a drainage; thence north-east northward along the drainage till it crosses Mikindani/Lindi Road; thence along Lindi Road to the starting point.

1. Kanyenye

Commencing at the junction of Lumumba Street and Market Street, the boundary of Kanyenye Ward follows Market Street in a south-westerly direction, through the round about at the junction of Market and School Streets, and follows Sikonge Road in a southerly direction to the roundabout at the Old Boma; thence in a north-westerly direction following Boma Road to meet Lumumba Street at the roundabout; thence along Lumumba Street due west to meet the junction of Lumumba Street and Market Street to the point of commencement.

Commencing at where the valley which separates Bweri and Nyakato Wards joins the lake; follows the valley southward crosses Mwanza Road; thence follows the valley adjacent to the Musoma Textile Mill until the point where this valley joins another one which separates Kigera and Nyakato Wards; thence follows the valley until River Nyangoromoko; thence follows the river north-eastward towards the bridge at the corner separating Bweri and Nyabange; thence heads for the lake upon which it turns to the left along the lake shore to the point of commencement.

Commencing at the point where the valley that separates Nyakato and Kitaji Wards joins the Lake; thence follows that valley until it meets another one heading for Mutex; thence to the lake; thence follows the lakeshore westward until the point of commencement.

7. Kigero

Commencing at the valley separating Kamunyonge and Buhare wards; thence southwards along that valley until the southern border of the Musoma Township; thence follows the major boundary through the bridge on River Nyangoromoko along the road going to Kiabakari; thence follows the river until the valley, heading for Mutex while separating Kigera and Bweri Wards; thence straight northwards toward the new Mwanza Road; thence turns left following the electricity posts to the small hill near Mara Secondary School and thereafter to the point of commencement.

8. Nyasho

Commencing at the junction of Kiabakari and Kanisa Roads southwards along Kiabakari Road until it meets the road heading for Kamunyonge near FFU; thence follows that road until the corner near the SDA dispensary; turns to the left and heads for the TPDF camp; thence follows the road to the south until the football pitch of Mara Secondary School. Thereafter it follows the new Mwanza Road until the valley separating Kigera and Nyakato Wards; thence northwards along the valley to the point where it joins the present Mwanza Road left wards until where it meets Kanisa Road; thence follows Kanisa Road to the point of commencement.

9. Kamunyonge

Commencing at the junction of the airport and Majita Road; thence follows Majita Road until where Mainjaga Road joins Majita Road near the water pump; thence follows that road until it meets another road that passes by the NHC Estate while heading for the SDA dispensary; thence from the dispensary follows the road that passes by the FFU only to join the Kiabakari Road; thence follows the Kiabakari Road northwards until a point where it joins Majita Road near the stadium, and thence along Majita Road westwards to the point of commencement.

10. Nyamatare

Commencing at the junction of Majita and Marinjaga Roads; thence follows Majita Road southward until the valley separating Nyamatare and Buhare Wards; thence westwards heading for the Hill situated near Mara Secondary School until where the boundary of Kigera Ward and that of Nyasho Ward meet just near the football pitch; thence follows the road heading for the SDA Dispensary; thence the road passing by the NHC Estate leading to Marinjaga Road; thence along that road to the point of commencement.

11. Buhare

Commencing at the bridge that separates Makoko Ward from that of Mwisenge; thence proceeds towards Barima Hill; thence follows the major boundary south-west to Majita Road at the Karumuri River; thence that separates Buhare and Kigera Wards; thence northward along that valley along Mwisenge Makoko Road and finally along the road towards Makoko until the point of commencement.

12. Mwisenge

Commencing at the point where the valley separating Mwisenge and Makoko joins the lake; thence follows that valley south-westward until the road heading for Makoko, turns to the left and follows the road to Mwisenge until the bridge which is situated on the valley that separates Buhare from Mwisenge; thence follows that road until Majita Road; along Majita Road; thence to the valley at a point where the boundaries of Nyamatare, Kigera and Buhare Wards meet; thence follows the valley that separates Buhar from Mwisenge northwards to the bridge along Mwisenge/Makoko Road; thence follows the valley and leads straight to the point of commencement.

Commencing from Biharamulo/Rugambwa Roads junction, the northern boundary runs eastwards along Rugambwa Road; thence into the eastern boundary running southwards along Nyamuhanga Hill. From the boundary runs westward along Kyamunene River; thence into the western boundary running north and north-westwards along Kakindo River up to the commencing point on Rugambwa Road.

3. Kibeta

Commencing from the confluence of Kishara River and its northern tributary, the northern boundary runs south-eastwards along the northern tributary of Kishara River and crosses Biharamulo Road; thence eastwards joining the southern surveyed boundary of Bukoba District office plot; thence into the eastern boundary running south-eastwards along Kyebitaigi Hills up to Kashura/Rugambwa Road. From Kyebitaigi Hills the southern boundary runs westward along Rugambwa Road; thence southwards along Biharamulo Road; thence south-westwards along Rwamrumba Road; thence into the western boundary running northwards along Mchumbi and Kisara Rivers up to the commencing point on the northern tributary of Kishara River.

4. Kagondo

Commencing from Kyaka Road near Omwinoni Hill, the northern boundary runs south-eastward along Kyaka Road; thence into the eastern boundary running southwards along Kishara River; from Kishara River, the southern boundary runs westwards along Byanga Valley and Kabona River; thence into the western boundary running north-eastwards along Kamatoju River; thence eastwards along Rwambi Hill; thence along Mwiziba Streams, Rengera River; thence northwards along Kyamugege Juu River and Omwinoni Hill and thence up to the commencing point on Kyaka Road.

5. Nyanga

Commencing from Kabugenzi River, the northern boundary runs eastwards along the Kabugezi River; thence it crosses Balimi-Nyakato Road to join Kyazi River; thence into the eastern boundary running southwards along Nyarwogo and Kanoni River. From Kanoni River, the southern boundary runs westwards along Kyaka Road; thence into the western boundary running northwards along Kyamnyosi Hill, Bushaza River; thence north-eastwards along Kyazi River; thence northwards along Kyamkorongo River; Rushalira River and thence up to the commencing point on Kabugezi River.

6. Buhembe

Commencing from Nyakato Secondary School, the northern boundary runs eastwards along the southern surveyed boundary of Nyakato Secondary School and Nyamishongoma River; thence into the eastern boundary running southwards along Kyabishoro Valley and crosses Mugeza Road to join Kyenumi Valley. From Kyenumi Valley, the southern boundary runs westwards along Kambuga River, a footpath that separates Buhembe Village, Nshambya Village, Buhoro River and Kyazi River; thence into the western boundary running northwards along Kyazi River, Nyarwego River and Balimi-Nyakato Roads up to the commencing point at Nyakato Secondary School.

7. Nshambya

Commencing from Buhoro River, the northern boundary runs eastwards along Buhoro River, a footpath which separates Nshambya and Buhemba Villages, and Kambuga River; thence into the eastern boundary running southwards along Kyenumi River. From Kyenumi River, the southern boundary runs westwards along Ihungo Hills, southwards along Kishenge River and westwards again along Kanoni River; thence into the western boundary running north-westwards along Kanoni River up to the commencing point on Buhoro River.

8. Kahororo

Commencing from Mugeza Road near Kasabongo Valley, the northern boundary runs eastwards along Mugeza Road and Kyamalebe River; thence into the eastern boundary running south-eastwards along Lake Victoria shore lines. From the shore line where Kyenumi River enters the lake, the western boundary runs northwards along Kyenumi River up to the commencing point on Mugeza Road.

Commencing from the source of Nyamishabo River, the northern boundary runs south-eastwards along Nyamishabo River and Kanoni River; thence into the eastern boundary running southwards along Lake Victoria shore line. From the shore line, the southern boundary runs westwards along Kyamunene River; thence into the western boundary running northwards along Nyamuhanga and Kyebitaigi Hills up to the commencing point on River Nyamishabo.

Commencing from where Old Kahororo Road crosses Kyenumi River, the northern boundary runs south-eastwards along Kyenumi River; thence into the eastern boundary running south-westwards along Lake Victoria shore line. From the shore line, the southern boundary runs westwards along Kanoni River; thence northwards along Custom Road and thence northwards along Custom Road and thence north-westwards along Uganda (Karume) Road; thence into the western boundary running north-eastwards along Kashai Road up to Kenkondo River; thence south-eastwards along Kenkondo River up to Old Kahororo Road; thence north-eastwards along Kahororo Road up to the commencing point on River Kyenumi.

11. Bilele

Commencing from where Kashozi Road crosses Kishenge River, the northern boundary runs south-eastwards along Kashozi Road; thence north-eastwards along Coronation Avenue; thence into the eastern boundary running south-westwards along Kashai Road; thence south-eastwards along Karume Road; thence south-westwards along Custom Road. From Custom Road the southern boundary runs north-westwards along Kanoni River. The western boundary continues to run north-westwards along Kanoni River and thence northwards into Kishenge River up to the commencing point on Kashozi Road.

12. Kashai

Commencing from the eastern part of Ihungo Hills, the northern boundary runs eastwards along Ihungo Hills, up to Kyenumi River; thence into the eastern boundary running south-eastwards along Kyenumi River; thence south-westwards along Old Kahororo Road; from Old Kahororo Road, the southern boundary runs north-westwards along Kenkonge River up to Kashai Road; thence south-westwards along Coronation Avenue up to Kashozi Road; thence into the western boundary running north-westwards along Kashozi Road; thence exactly northwards along Kishenge River up to the commencing point on Ihungo Hills.

13. Hamugembe

Commencing from where Kishara River joins Kanoni River, the northern boundary runs eastwards along Kanoni River and the same river forms the eastern boundary running southwards; from Kanoni River, the southern boundary runs north-westward along Nyamishabo River; thence into the western boundary running northwards along Nyamuhanga Hill; thence north-westwards along the southern surveyed boundary of Bukoba District Office plot and the boundary crosses Biharamulo Road to join Kishara River; thence north-eastwards along Kishara River up to the commencing point on Kanoni River.
